Concern on Nam Sang Wai Development
Over the past 15 years since 2010, CA has been monitoring the conservation of condition of Nam Sang Wai, reviewing the Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and planning applications submitted by developers, and submitting opinions to the relevant departments. The one-month public consultation period for the Proposed Comprehensive Development and Wetland Enhancement Project in Nam Sang Wai and Lut Chau ended on March 22. Agricultural Priority Area: Revitalize Local Agriculture through Collaboration from Different Sectors
Public consultation on The Agricultural Priority Areas (APA) has been conducted atin end of 2024. CA had already, prior to the consultation, collaborated with various environmental groups and academic institutions to publish the report “Report on the Northern Metropolis Development Strategy and Recommendations for Agricultural Priority Areas”. This report comprehensively reviewed the current status of agricultural land in major areas of NM and preliminarily proposed seven APA with a total area of approximately 340 hectares.
