‘Long Valley Little Farmer’ is an eco-farming experiential program for schools. Students are appointed to be Little Farmers to pick up wet farmland farming skills and to cook with local farm products. Students could understand wet farmland agriculture as well as learn to treasure food and enhance the connection with land.
At the same time, through exploring the wet farmland, students would be amazed to discover a rich biodiversity such as frogs, tadpoles, larvae of dragonflies and water birds, which rely on the landwet farmland to live and to breed.
‘Long Valley Little Farmer’ is planning to bring paddy farming to different schools. Students could enjoy paddy farming in school with ‘School Paddy Field Education Kit’ we offer.
