Woodland provides countless benefits and nourish numerous animals and plants. Unfortunately, most worldwide forests does encounter various degree of serious damage. The primary forests in Hong Kong basically vanished. Some young forests regenerate on certain hillsides after several decades of natural succession but many sites still remain barren. Artificial tree planting with proper tree species help speed up the regeneration process and bring back our forests in a relatively shorter time.
