Recycling Competition for schools

Objective

Method

• Collect used clothes for reuse
• Raise the environmental awareness of the students
• Encourage students to carry out waste reduction in practice

In-school recycling day:

• To be organized by the school’s office, collecting recyclable items inside the campus

Role of School

CA Provides

• Promote recycling activities ( promotional materials can be downloaded from here)
• Collect recyclable items before the designated pick-up date
• Coordinate with school’s office staff and workers to
• determine the date, locations and/or supplementary
• activities for the recycling activities
• Provide relevant activity photos for project archive purpose

• Electronic posters and worksheet (Click here)
• Pickup of used clothes on selected pick-up date
• Recycling report after the competition if needed
• E-cert of appreciation to be given to the *eligible students/participants

“Target Recycling Amount” = Average recycling amount over the past three school years:
Kindergarten group: 112kg  Primary school group: 248kg    Secondary school group: 117kg
