“Green Leaders Bloc” has trainedup more than 110 students to become green leaders.
The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited has been sponsoring the Green Leaders Bloc Project since 2011, brinigng more than 110 young leaders to the frontline with 29 different green campaigns.
The Green Leaders are required to complete a series of workshops in the Green Leaders Bloc training camp in mid-summer. The training aimsat strengthening their awareness towards carbonreduction, as well as enhancing their ability in organizing greenactivities. The green leaders will then design,plan and implement their own campaigns afterwards, delivering the “lowcarbon” message to fellow schoolmates in the campus and the public.
The Green Leaders made use of famous cartoon characters to indicate different types of recyclables to raise their schoolmates’ awareness towards proper recycling.
The Green Leaders imitated a movie poster to initiate schoolmates’ awareness about waste reduction.
