Sponsored by Epson Foundation, Wastes Transformers was an Up-cycling Creation Competition. Held in 2012, creating useful products from waste materials was the major objective, thereby minimizing unnecessary new products production. We hope to achieve better low carbon living.
Flow of Competition
Participants were requested to register an account, receiving the password and completing the confirmation procedure;
Participants were then requested to finish producing their works and also a relevant introductory video (no more than 4 min in duration), uploading it to YouTube together with an article(around 150 words) for preliminary screening. The introductory videos and articles focused on talking about the concepts, the production procedure, the choice of materials and the applications etc. The choice of materials and the applications would be the centre of the preliminary screening. At the same time, videos and articles of selected works would be available in the competition website for online public voting (as My Beloved Transformation).
