Green Dragon Boat Race Competition 2019 at Tuen Mun
This year, CA was invited by the Environmental Protection Department (EPD) for the first time to assist in the waste reduction works and promote clean recycling messages for the organizer of the Tuen Mun Dragon Boat Race Competition at Dragon Boat Festival. In just a week’s preparation time, three recycling and 4 water stations were set up on the event day to promote clean recycling and “Bring Your Own Bottle” messages. Summer Interns joining FRRC
Summer Interns joining FRRC Exciting news! Two energetic interns are joining FRRC this summer and our helpers and locals enjoy seeing young bloods in our centre. By participating in our food recovery work in wet-markets, we believe our interns would gain a first-hand experience and deeper understanding on the food waste issue in Hong Kong. Meanwhile, it is a great opportunity to equip themselves with some practical food handling skills and learn how to utilize surplus food. Also, a crucial part of our work is to communicate and facilitate ideas exchange with locals, which helps us deliver a service that also fulfills their needs. During the summer, our interns will prepare workshops on...

In May 2019, CA together with 15 concern groups released a joint statement on the expectations for Robin’s Nest Country Park, proposing a 1,120-hectare Country Park to protect sites with high ecological, historic,...
