Since February 2021, Pricerite Home Limited has become our regular surplus food donor, not only can save food from being waste and helping people in need, but also setting a good example for businesses to actively participate in social responsible practice and sharing our core value of food wise, waste reduction and mutual sharing in the community. CA’s food sharing scheme, the Food Resources Recycling Centre (FRRC), was established in 2013 and currently sponsored by the Environment and Conservation Fund since 2014. The aim of the project is to: 1) Reduce food waste 2) Help those in need 3) Promote “Food Wise” and sustainable development by recycling and redistributing surplus food daily in the community. More than 342 tonnes of surplus food had been recovered as of July 2020 while benefited more than 170,000 people.
