Time flies! Organised by EPD and conducted by CA, the ‘Green Hiking Etiquettes’ promotion booths were there in service for 6 consecutive weekends already! Under the COVID-19 epidemic, people treasure the chance to enjoy fresh air in the nature so much. The countryside was therefore filled up with waves of visitors. Our Tsing Yi and Tuen Mun Team alone have recorded a visitor traffic of 25400 persons!
In our observation, most hikers were great nature lovers who fully supported ‘Green Hiking Etiquettes’. They were pleased to put the following into practice:
1. Plan well and be disposable-free
2. Leave no trace
3. Conserve the rivers and streams
4. Embrace nature tranquility
5. Respect wild animals
6. Handle fire with care
7. Be inclusive and polite to share the nature
